For the Love of Love

We should never feel obligated or pressured to show our affection and appreciation for the ones we love.

We should do it because we can. We should do it because we want to.

We have an opportunity every day to show our loved ones how much we care about them and how much they mean to us, but we are so often burdened by the duties and responsibilities of our lives that we let these moments past. We are rarely reminded of how much our husbands, wives, partners, or significant others truly mean to us, but each day offers us that gift. It offers us the gift of remembering all of the amazing qualities that we see in each other. It allows us to focus on all of the little details about the ones we love. Each day gives us the opportunity, to express our love, gratitude, appreciation, respect, and desire toward the one other person in our lives that makes us feel complete in a way that no one else can.

Show your love in ways that you’ve never done before. Plan a romantic Scavenger Hunt. Build a gift with your own hands. Design a piece of art inspired by your relationship. Spend the entire day curled up on the couch eating chocolate and watching sappy romantic comedies. Go run a Spartan Race together.

There are so many ways that we can tell the person that we love how much we care about them and they don’t have to be grand or always require a lot of effort. Don’t let the moment pass without expressing how you truly feel to the one you care about the most.

Do it for your partner. Do it for yourself. Do it for the love of love.
