6 Resolutions I’m Making This New Year

with every new year begins a new chapter of 365 Pages that but I will need us on many adventures that will teach us many life lessons throughout the year every year while watching NYE night show with a glass of champagne in my hand I tend to come up with 5 New Years Resolutions that I want to achieve throughout the year and I’m happy to say I have had a great 2018 so what are my goals for 2019

after giving it some thought I came up with about five New Year’s resolutions that I would like to tackle this year now that I’ve learned a lot in the past year about myself and has a person that I was in the experiences that 2018 brought to me although it started off rocky and had many bumps in the road I’m happy to say that I’m ending it off with a bang

So without further do let’s get started :

1. Get a job at the local bookstore

I have always been a bookworm and love to write stories so what better place to get the first job outside of the Internet besides the bookstore like a Barnes& Noble the perks of working at Barnes& Noble free would be that I get all the new books that come out quicker and if one of my favorite authors happens to be there like Nicholas Sparks I can get a front row seat to the book signing and I can get books on the release date right then and there but it also gives me the opportunity to meet people and get inspired to write more

2. Become more independent

Having cerebral palsy could be difficult and you constantly need 24-hour care if you have my type of cerebral palsy but I want to get to a point where I can learn to be more independent to be able to move out and Live on my own with 24-hour care without my mother having to worry about me.

3. Going to a country concert of any of my favorite country artists

Believe it or not, although I’m a country music fanatic I’ve had never been to one country concert and one of the goals that I have is to see Mickey Gilley live in concert because for one he wrote the best songs from my favorite movie urban cowboy

4. Go on my first ever date with a special kind of guy

I’m a bit embarrassed to say I’ve never been on an actual date with a guy that I’m actually dating and I think it would be good for me to go on a nice romantic date at my favorite restaurant crackle barrel and have a nice candlelight dinner just letting loose with that special guy

5. Finish writing up my draft for the book I’ve been working on for six years what are my goals this year is to finally finish up my draft of my second novel since I’ve been working on it since I was 17 years old I’ve come along way in learned many things about writing and I’m excited to finish up this six-year project .

6. Continue spreading awareness for cerebral palsy

Advocating for cerebral palsy has been life-changing whether it’s been through my writing or being on podcasts I have found my purpose in life to be a voice for those who can’t speak up or afraid to but my next goal when it comes to that is to speak at conventions about my disability and my everyday struggles

well that’s all I hope you guys enjoyed my List of New Year’s resolutions and I hope you all have a happy new year
