To The Teacher Who Inspired Me The Most

It all started when I first entered middle school at 12 years old. I was nervous when I headed into your classroom, and when I saw you for the first time, I didn’t know if I’d like you.

But over time, as I got to know you, my favorite teacher, I saw how compassionate, caring, and loving you are. I’m thankful that I got the chance to let you into my world and build a bond with you.

You’re an amazing human being who cares about her students’ well-being and helps them reach their full potential. You even helped me with science on your planning period, which showed me that you are a truly beautiful person.  Thank you for always caring about our journeys and giving everything you have to help us.

Thank you for your positive attitude. You always had a smile on your face, even on the days when you stressed out over those wild teen boys in our class. We may have all driven you insane sometimes, but you always stayed patient with us, even when we all complained about correcting our work.

Thank you for your words of wisdom. You always seemed to say something brilliant exactly when I needed to hear it, and you had the best story ideas for me when I first started writing. I will never forget everything you told me about how to live life and your encouragement along the way.

You saw me grown to the beautiful woman I am today. I am extremely proud of my accomplishments, but I also know that you helped me achieve every single one. You never quit on me, even when the other teachers did, and you were always there to help push me back onto the road to success. In fact, you called me your “favorite student,” which is by far one of my greatest accomplishments.

I wish that I could repay you for all of your kindness, encouragement, and life lessons, but for now, all I can do is thank you. I will always remember your guidance throughout the years, and I appreciate all you’ve done to inspire me to succeed in life.

Love always,

Your favorite student
